The ICTS Doñana coordinates the Doñana platform for Long-term socio-ecological Monitoring and Research (Doñana LTSER) integrated into the European Network for Long-term Ecological Research eLTER. The ICTS through the Natural Process Monitoring Team (ESPN) and ICT infrastructure systematically acquires data on the status of ecosystems, habitats, populations and species in the Donana Natural space through field sampling, in situ sensors and remote sensing images (including drones). This task will involve the installation of new sensors, the implementation of work flows and the acquisition of hyperspectral, thermal and LIDAR images for the generation of validated and scaled products of water and carbon flows using existing flow towers. The data series, processes and workflows will be offered standardized as a pilot study of co-location of the European Research Infrastructures LifeWatch-Eric and Elter Ri according to FAIR principles through EOSC (European Open Science Initiative).
