He holds a degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Jaén and a Master’s Degree in Geology (specialized in Edaphology) from the University of Granada. Contracted at the Experimental Station of Arid Zones (EEZA), his work is linked to the ecology of biodiversity conservation and recovery through the analysis of plant-pollinator and plant-bird interaction networks, seed dispersal by birds, pest control, soil erosion control, plant recruitment, censuses and taxonomy of flora and entomofauna.
