He is a senior technician at the Doñana Biological Station (EBD-CSIC) with 7 years of experience in the study of movement and space ecology of scavengers, a doctorate in integrated Biology and a master’s degree in Biodiversity and Conservation Biology. He is currently working with several species of seabirds (Shearwater, yellow duck seagull and Audouin seagull) to study the dynamics and effects of interactions between these birds and anthropic activities such as fishing and landfills. This work is based on the use of GPS transmitters to study the movement and spatial ecology of these species on the mediterranean coast.
