Manuela González Forero

He is a titular scientist at the Doñana Biological Station (EBD-CSIC),director of the Department of Conservation Biology and scientific head of the EBD’s Stable Isotope laboratory (LIE-EBD) His research lines include the study of trophic ecology and interaction with human activities mainly in seabirds, but also in other species such as dish, cetaceans, birds of prey and some species of mammals. Their projects cover the effect of different vectors of global change on these populations and the food webs where they are integrated.  To address its research topics, it combines the use of intrinsic markers, such as stable isotopes, with the implementation of remote monitoring devices, and the extraction of environmental variables through geographic information systems. Very interested in long-term studies, through the use of time data series to evaluate the effect of global change on the populations studied.
