Eloy Revilla

Works on species-specific ecology and conservation, with a special focus on spatial issues, including habitat and movement ecology, macroecological patterns and species vulnerability and threats, embracing also applied issues such as the relationship between roads, traffic and conservation. He obtained his Degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Leon with, where he also defended his PhD. He has worked as postdoc researcher at the Helmholtz Center for Environmental Research (Germany), the Institute for Advanced Studies of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Israel) and the Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Study (South Africa). In 2006 he obtained a permanent research position at the Estación Biológica de Doñana – CSIC, where he is the current director.
