He studied Biology at the Complutense University of Madrid and the University of Aarhus, later specializing with a master’s degree in Conservation Biology. He joined the CSIC in 2016, working on national and European projects whose lines of research have been dedicated to ecosystem restoration, adaptive management of natural spaces and the conservation of large mammals through GPS tracking, censuses and camera trapping. He is currently a research technician at the Doñana Biological Station. His work consists of collecting both historical and contemporary data to determine the effect that different management actions have had on the conservation of the Doñana National Park.
