Jorge Fernández Berni. University of Seville and IMSE-CNM (CSIC)

He holds a PhD in Telecommunications Engineering. His research within the SUMHAL project focuses on the development of low-cost sensory systems, low power consumption, and small dimensions for remote environmental monitoring. In particular, we are developing intelligent nest boxes that will incorporate different sensory modalities (vision, acoustics environmental variables such as temperature and humidity, etc.) and which will carry out interference from the data collected, that is, provide high-level information to biologists and manager for timely decision-making.
