He holds a PhD in Biology from the University of Granada and currently works at Lund University His line of research focuses on the interactions that are established between parasites and hosts integrating ecological, parasitological and evolutionary studies. Within the SUMHAL project, it tries to determine the potential of citizen science platforms for the study of host parasite relationships. In addition, it investigates the determinants of the presence of ectoparasites and their potential dispersal through birds.
